Applying for an apartment is a breeze! Just head over to our floorplan page online, and you can complete your application right there. If you have any questions or need help along the way, feel free to reach out!
Our application process typically takes 24-72 hours. We partner with a third-party system that evaluates each applicant based on credit, criminal history, and other key factors like income, employment, and residence history. Once everything is reviewed, our team will reach out to you with the results as soon as possible. We can’t wait to welcome you to our community!
When applying, there are just a couple of upfront costs to take care of: a $200 hold fee, that will go towards your security deposit when you move in, a security deposit (which you can find our current amount on our floorplan page) and a $50 application fee per person over 18. If you have any questions or need more details, we're just a call or message away! We're here to help make the process as smooth as possible!
Paying rent is a breeze with BRG! You’ve got plenty of options: pay online through the BRG Resident Portal, the BRG Apartments App, Text to Pay, Apple Pay, Masterpass, or even WIPS/PayNearMe for quick cash payments at thousands of local retail stores. Please note, we don’t accept checks at our leasing office, so these digital options are the way to go!
Yes, renter's insurance is a must at all BRG communities! You can easily grab a policy through our trusted insurance partner or choose your own Personal HO4 (Renter’s Insurance) from any provider you like. Just make sure to upload your proof of coverage, and you're all set!

While utilities aren't included in the rent, this gives you the flexibility to manage them based on your personal usage. If you have any other questions or need more details, we're here to help!

I wanted to share a review of my residency here. All i can say is WOW. i have lived here for almost 6 years . The Staff here are just phenomenal. Always nice. The maintance team is prompt and respectful and very friendly. Micheal, Don and Ej ROCK STARS. BUT. the review is more in direction to MS. Ronda with NO H. (inside joke) and Ms. Vikki. Who have been amazing over the years with everything. I just recently have fallen on hard times which I think everyone has with Covid 19 hitting.

Like every other place, Barkley has its ups and downs to living there, but while i lived at the Southgate location, i noticed that leasing and management were very good with communication even throughout the beginning stages of the epidemic, and even when stress was overwhelming for them, issues were always fixable when tended to properly and with patience and respect when brought up accordingly with leasing. i also never saw any cockroaches or ants until the weather got warmer out which is expe
