Community Involvement

Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Apartment Association (GCNKAA) Outreach

The Apartment Association Outreach was founded in 1991 by a local apartment association, the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Apartment Association (GCNKAA). This group wanted to make a difference in their community while elevating the apartment industry. Throughout the next decade, the Outreach evolved into a strong organization that answered the needs of the individuals in times of crisis, served the poor and elderly, and provided basic needs. BRG wants to help make a positive difference in the community. We support all of the Outreach's events. Some events include the Night Out for Outreach, where BRG was the Presenting Sponsor and the 5k for Outreach where we were a Gold Sponsor and had BRG team members participate in the 5k event.

Greater Cincinnati Boys and Girls Club

BGCGC serves youth (6-18) through a variety of after-school and summer programs including homework assistance, technology centers, teen centers, career exploration, job assistance, sports and recreation, art classes and leadership development. Their goal for each Boys & Girls Club member is to graduate from high school, remain fit for life and become engaged citizens of their club and community. BRG provides financial assistance and, through its employees, donates its time to the Boys and Girls Club.

John P. March Educational Foundation

The John P. March III Memorial Golf Event was established in honor of John P. March III, known fondly as “Baby John”. Together with the March family, friends and colleagues created this golf outing as a celebration of community and Baby John’s life. All proceeds from the event help fund the John P. March Educational Foundation. The Foundation provides monetary assistance to over 20 students a year and their families who desire the Cincinnati Country Day School experience. BRG is the principal sponsor and has provided financial support to the organization for several years.

March of Dimes Walk for Babies

The March of Dimes strives to develop and implement local programs that will ultimately improve the health of babies. Through our network of chapters and volunteers, these programs reach over a million people across the country and Puerto Rico each year. They provide information and services designed to prevent premature birth and birth defects and to promote healthy pregnancies. BRG held bake sales, breakfast at the bus stop, blue jean Monday's, pizza sales, an online auction and participated in a local March of Dimes walk and raised over $30,000 for the worthy cause!

Red Cross

The American Red Cross exists to provide compassionate care to those in need. Their network of generous donors, volunteers and employees share a mission of preventing and relieving suffering, here at home and around the world, through five key service areas: Disaster Relief, Supporting America's Military Families, Lifesaving Blood, Health and Safety Services and International Services. BRG supports the Red Cross not only because it's a great organization but because the Red Cross has graciously come in and supported several BRG residents, displaced by fires and other disasters, over the years.

Toys For Tots

The mission of the U.S Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children. The primary goal is to deliver a message of hope to the youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens. The BRG communities and corporate office have donated hundreds of toys to this charity.

Matthew 25 Ministries

Matthew 25 Ministries provides nutritional food to the hungry, clean water to the thirsty, clothing to the naked, affordable shelter to the homeless, medical care to the ill, and humanitarian supplies to prisoners. After learning that approximately 99 cents out of every dollar goes to the charity, BRG felt this was a great cause to support financially and participated in a local Matthew 25 walk.
